Состояние: Переплет - удовлетворительное: заметные потертости и износ краев картона. Блок - хорошее: крепкий, страницы с равномерным пожелтением, текст полностью сохранен, присутствуют старые библиотечные штампы.

"Vestnik profdvizheniya Ukrainy" (Herald of the Trade Union Movement of Ukraine) was a pivotal socio-political and economic biweekly periodical of the early Soviet period, published in Kharkov, the capital of the Ukrainian SSR from 1919 to 1934. The journal provides an invaluable primary source on the industrialization efforts, labor policies, and economic restructuring during the New Economic Policy (NEP) era. The volume is notably distinguished by its striking constructivist cover design featuring an industrial woodcut-style central medallion with the monogram "Z", perfectly encapsulating the aesthetic of the 1920s Ukrainian avant-garde. Early Soviet regional periodicals are exceedingly scarce on the antiquarian market, but this specific convolute is truly exceptional due to its completeness. When journals were privately bound in the 1920s, bookbinders almost universally discarded the ephemeral advertising sections and loose supplements. Remarkably, this volume preserves extensive original advertising brochures, contemporary NEP-era trade ads, and official supplements exactly as they were issued. Gathering eight issues with strictly limited print runs of 4,000 to 5,000 copies.
