Condition fair: wrappers show overall rubbing, corner wear, and some staining; the verso of the title page bears heavy blue ink scribbling and a child's secondary gift inscription (dated 1956); remaining text pages are lightly age-toned but structurally intact.

A scarce mid-1950s Soviet Georgian children's poetry booklet by Ilia Khoshtaria, featuring typical era-specific themes, including an opening poem dedicated to Vladimir Lenin alongside nature, school, and pastoral verses. Published in 1955 by "Sablitgami" (the State Publishing House for Children's and Youth Literature) with a modest print run of 7,000 copies, the booklet is illustrated by G. Kakhidze, whose work captures the distinct aesthetic of post-war Soviet children's book design. Finding softcover children's books from this period intact is relatively uncommon, as they were heavily used, passed down, and often discarded. This specific copy carries an authentic presentation inscription from the author dated March 1955, just shortly after publication, adding distinct association value. However, reflecting its history as a heavily used child's reading copy, it also bears a secondary child's inscription (dated 1956) and substantial ink scribbles on the verso of the title page. Despite these condition flaws, it remains a charming, signed artifact of Soviet Georgian literary education and typography during the Khrushchev Thaw.
