Dmitry Konstantinovich Bobylev (1842–1917) — Russian mathematician, mechanician, educator, doctor of physics, and professor at Saint Petersburg University and the Institute of Railway Engineers of Emperor Alexander I. Known for his work in theoretical mechanics, differential equations, and elasticity theory, Bobylev authored numerous textbooks and scientific papers used in Russian higher education. His research and teaching significantly contributed to the development of Russian science and engineering education.
