Обложка-папка - хорошее: загрязнения и пятна на задней стороне, потрёпанность и осыпание картона по корешку и краям, потёртости уголков. Листы выкроек - очень хорошее: яркая многоцветная печать, все 9 листов выкроек и лист инструкции присутствуют, детали не вырезаны, лёгкое пожелтение бумаги по краям.

Portfolio wrapper good: staining and soiling to the rear panel, wear and surface loss to the spine and edges of the cardboard, corner rubbing. Pattern sheets very good: bright multicolor printing, all 9 pattern sheets and the instruction sheet present, no pieces cut out, light toning to sheet edges.

A large-format cardboard construction toy ("самоделка") issued by PO "Kartonazhnik," a Leningrad производственное объединение specializing in die-cut paper and card toys manufactured to official Soviet industry standards (ОСТ). Designed by the staff artist Z. L. Venediktova, whose body of work for the same publisher includes other card-construction kits such as "Древнерусская крепость" (Old Russian Fortress), the set allowed a child to cut, fold, and glue nine printed and pre-scored cardboard sheets into a freestanding two-story dollhouse complete with a balcony, mansard roof, front porch with balustrade, working staircase, lantern, herringbone and stone-pattern wall finishes, simple furniture (chairs and an armchair), and printed cardboard figures of a family and pets to inhabit it. A detailed twenty-two-step instruction sheet, illustrated with isometric line drawings of the house at successive stages of assembly, guided the builder through the construction sequence. Aimed at children aged five to ten, such kits combined constructive play with the development of fine motor skills and spatial reasoning, and were produced and priced (50 kopecks) as inexpensive, widely distributed Soviet children's goods. Precisely because they were meant to be cut apart and used, complete surviving examples with all pattern sheets present and uncut are relatively scarce, making this set of interest to collectors of Soviet paper ephemera, toy history, and graphic design of the period.
