Vladimir Mikhailovich Zvontsov (1914–1984) and Viktor Ivanovich Shistko (1919–1984) were prominent Soviet graphic artists, engravers, and educators specializing in intaglio printmaking techniques. Both taught at leading art institutions (including the Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute and the Moscow Polygraphic Institute), where they developed teaching methods for etching, aquatint, and other metal-plate engraving processes. Together they authored several practical guides on graphic techniques, combining hands-on artistic experience with clear pedagogical structure.
