Moscow: Partizdat, 1934.
189 p.: ill.; 20 cm. Hardcover.
This is a propaganda publication from 1934, dedicated to popularizing and explaining the famous Leninist formula that became the slogan of the USSR's industrialization program. Published by the Party Publishing House (Partizdat), the book elaborates on the essence of the GOELRO plan (State Commission for the Electrification of Russia), which Vladimir Lenin called the "second program of the party," designed to lay the technical and economic foundation for building communism. The edition was released during a period when the GOELRO plan had not only been fulfilled but exceeded, with the country's electricity generation by 1932 increasing nearly sevenfold compared to pre-revolutionary levels. The book served as a tool for ideological education, vividly demonstrating the successes of Soviet power in the technical modernization of the country.
