This is the Chuvash-language edition of the famous 1936 interview between Joseph Stalin and the American journalist Roy Howard, the chairman of the Scripps-Howard newspaper chain. Published in 1936 by the Chuvash State Publishing House (CHUVASHGIZ) in Cheboksary (Shupashkar), this booklet is a notable example of the dissemination of key political texts among the non-Russian peoples of the USSR during the 1930s. The interview itself was a significant geopolitical statement, where Stalin discussed the threat of war from Japan and Germany, denied the "export of revolution," and articulated the Soviet concept of freedom. 
Surviving copies, especially in good condition, are considered bibliographically rare, representing a specific artifact of Soviet national and propaganda publishing.
