This four-volume set is the most comprehensive Russian-language edition of works by the world-renowned Danish cartoonist and satirical artist Herluf Bidstrup (1912-1988). Published between 1968 and 1970 by the Soviet state publishing house "Iskusstvo" (Art), this collection became a cultural phenomenon in the USSR, making Bidstrup one of the most beloved and widely recognized foreign artists. The edition includes his famous wordless comic stories, sharp political caricatures, travel sketches, and everyday observations, all executed in his distinctive, expressive, and universally understandable graphic style. The publication is notable for its high-quality printing and large encyclopedic format.
