This is a rare regional publication documenting the activities of the Baku Komsomol (the Communist Youth League) during the collective bargaining campaign in the late 1920s. Published in Baku in 1929 by the editorial office of the local youth newspaper "Young Worker," the booklet provides insight into the role of young communists in implementing labor policies and mobilizing workers during the crucial period of the First Five-Year Plan in Azerbaijan. As a primary source, it sheds light on the dynamics of Soviet youth activism, labor relations, and ideological work in a major industrial and oil-producing center of the USSR. Its very limited print run makes it a bibliographic rarity for researchers of Soviet Azerbaijan, early Soviet labor history, and the Komsomol movement.
