This 1952 academic collection, published in Sukhumi, is a fundamental archival resource for the study of the socio-economic history of the South Caucasus. Compiled and introduced by the prominent historian Irakli Antelava, the text provides a deep dive into the internal logic of late Imperial Russian agrarian policy, including the arrangement of twelve primary documents detailing the legal and administrative evolution of land reform for state peasants. The volume covers the deliberations of the Medvedev Commission, the journals of the Council of the Glavnonachalstvuyushchy (Civil Chief) in the Caucasus, and the final legislative acts of 1900 and 1903.
