Hieronymus Georg Zeuthen (1839–1920) — Danish mathematician and historian of science, professor at the University of Copenhagen. His research on the history of mathematics, particularly in Antiquity and the Middle Ages, gained worldwide recognition. His book History of Mathematics in Antiquity and the Middle Ages is considered one of his major works, translated into multiple languages.
Pavel Sergeevich Yushkevich (1903–1987) — Soviet mathematician and historian of science, translator, and editor. His translations and commentaries on classic works in the history of mathematics made them accessible to Russian-speaking audiences, contributing to the popularization of science in the USSR.
