Vadim Platonovich Statsenko (1863–1919) — Russian architect, engineer, educator, professor, honored professor, and honorary member of the conference of the Nikolaev Engineering Academy. A specialist in reinforced concrete, he authored the seminal work Civil Architecture and numerous studies on construction techniques. A member of the Russian Technical Society (RTO) council, director of the Glukhoozersky Portland Cement Company, architect of the General Staff, Main Administration of Trade, Navigation, and Ports, and a member of the Barracks Construction Commission. His works laid the foundation for advancements in Russian construction technology.
