Compiled by a team from the All-Union Research Institute of Viticulture and Winemaking \"Magarach\" in Yalta under Glavvino, the USSR's chief wine administration, the book systematizes the design of continuous processing lines - covering construction materials for equipment (metals, reinforced concrete, plastics, rubber, anti-corrosion coatings), the layout and specification of processing machinery, and, notably, the automation of accelerated-maturation lines, with instrumentation and control schemes. Sergei Timofeevich Tyurin, credited in the colophon as the volume's editor-in-charge, was a Magarach specialist in wine-material storage and preservation who had earlier, in 1967, co-authored with V.I. Nilov a related monograph on the maturation of wine materials in large static reservoirs; the present work extends that earlier line of research toward the fully continuous, automated processing lines that came to define late-Soviet industrial viticulture. Issued from the Institute in a modest run of 3,000 copies, it reflects the broader Soviet push of the 1970s to mechanize and automate food-processing industries, and remains a primary technical source for the history of Soviet oenological engineering and factory automation. \u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Stanza Rare Books","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":44524867616810,"sku":null,"price":50.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0701\/6359\/5306\/files\/IMG_5907.jpg?v=1782917728","url":"https:\/\/stanzararebooks.com\/products\/tyurin-s-t-lugovskoy-e-v-danilevsky-a-s-sadlaev-o-o-technology-of-inline-processing-of-wine-materials-tekhnologiya-potochnoi-obrabotki-vinomaterialov-first-edition-1974-in-russian","provider":"Stanza Rare Books","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
