Soviet miniature books, typically defined by trim sizes under 100 mm, formed a distinct and actively collected branch of Soviet bibliophily from the 1970s onward, with regional publishers frequently marking literary anniversaries with specialty miniature printings intended for club collectors as much as general readers; the format code 60×84 1\/64 records the sheet-fraction used to achieve this scale. The three volumes divide Mayakovsky's work by genre and period: the first gathers his shorter lyric and civic poems; the second reprints \"Vladimir Ilyich Lenin\" (1924), the long elegiac poem Mayakovsky wrote following Lenin's death, one of the central texts of his output from the mid-1920s; the third combines \"Khorosho!\" (\"Good!,\" 1927), his epic poem marking the tenth anniversary of the October Revolution, with \"Vo ves' golos\" (\"At the Top of My Voice,\" 1930), the unfinished long poem left as his final major work at the time of his suicide.
